- XEOMIN, Dysport and Botox are very similar products, but there are some significant differences.
- Dysport works to maintain a natural look, whilst also reducing the appearance of crow’s feet, worry lines and forehead wrinkles. Similar to Botox, Dysport uses clostridium botulinum toxin by injection to temporarily paralyse the facial muscles responsible for wrinkle formation.
- The advantage of Dysport is in its quick results. Compared to Botox, which can take around 3-5 days to show any sign of working, Dysport acts fast and you’ll see a reduction in wrinkles in as quick as 24 hours. Dysport is also much more long-lasting, and it remains effective for up to 5 months.
- Unlike its rivals (Botox, Dysport), XEOMIN is “naked,” meaning that it is pure and has no additives. This reduces the likelihood of the patient developing a resistance to XEOMIN
